This section lists the new features, enhancements, and hardware platforms introduced in Aruba Instant On 2.6.0.

Account Recovery for Two-Factor Authentication Changing the Recovery Email Address	Account Recovery for Two-Factor Authentication Changing the Recovery Email Address	When setting up two-factor authentication on your Instant On account, you will now be prompted to enter a recovery email address that can be used to sign in to your account, in case you experience trouble using the authenticator app. Once two-factor authentication is setup on your account, you also have the option to change the recovery email address for the account.
ACL Enhancements for Wired Networks	ACL Enhancements for Wired Networks	The locked port and restricted network features are now exclusive. The same port cannot be locked and be dedicated to a restricted network at the same time. If a port has a such configuration, the locked port feature will take precedence. Additionally, some messages have been added in the UI to indicate the maximum limit for restricted wired networks is reached.
Adding or Removing Wireless Clients from a Watchlist Adding or Removing Wired Clients from a Watchlist Enabling Notifications for Watchlisted Clients	Adding or Removing Wireless Clients from a Watchlist Adding or Removing Wired Clients from a Watchlist Enabling Notifications for Watchlisted Clients	Wired and Wireless clients can now be added to a watchlist to receive prompt notifications when the status of the client changes. The clients can also be manually removed from the watchlist.
Enhancements to Network Schedule for Employee or Guest Networks	Enhancements to Network Schedule for Employee or Guest Networks	The network schedule configuration for employee or guest networks now includes a new option called Variable, which allows users to configure different network schedules on a daily basis.
Enhancements to Power Schedule	Enhancements to Power Schedule	The power schedule configuration now includes a new option called Variable, which allows users to configure different PoE schedules on a daily basis.
Jumbo Frames Support for Instant On Switches Jumbo Frames Support for an Instant On Cloud-Managed Stack	Jumbo Frames Support for Instant On Switches Jumbo Frames Support for an Instant On Stack	Jumbo frames can now be enabled on all Instant On switches and cloud-managed stacks to improve data transmission efficiency by reducing the number of frames and overheads for switches to process.
Increased Number of Devices Per Site	Increased Number of Devices Per Site	The maximum number of Instant On devices that can be deployed in a site has been increased to 50 devices.
SKU information included under Device Details	SKU information included under Device Details	The device details section of each Instant On device will now include the SKU information, in addition to other generic device information.
Software Update Enhancements	Software Update Enhancements	The status of the software update will now be displayed as a progress bar along with the list of Instant On devices that have successfully installed the software and the devices that did not complete the installation.
